I began my artistic endeavors at the tender age of five. My mother was not too pleased with the abstract scribbles on her wall. In the good old fashioned scolding manner, I was informed not to do that again or else! Yet my imagination could not be stifled.

Throughout my childhood I would decorate walls using my imagination instead of crayons. This I would later learn is an invaluable technique called visualization. Of which I believe I have mastered being able to see the completed project in my mind.

Although raised in the Pacific Northwest, I am a "traveling gypsy" at heart. I have traveled extensively, and much of the inspiration for my work has stemmed from my travels as well as the travel adventures of friends and clients. To draw upon these stories and photos that we all have to share, fuels my creative soul.

I enjoy the collaborative process to create the back drops of peoples lives and to bring spaces to life through the use of color. One of my favorite quotes that I have heard from clients numerous times is, "Thank you for helping to make our house a home."

When I embraced the concept of following my artistic endeavors as a full fledged career, I sought to find the top educators in this field.  I have been certified in the use of six different product lines  by attending standard and advanced hands on training courses across the United States. Through ongoing classes, workshops and Conventions I continue to pursue my calling with pride and purpose.  I consider many of the individuals that I have trained with to be my artistic mentors. I am thankful to all of them for supplying me with the knowledge and materials to turn my imagination into a reality for others to see what I see.
