Evening Magazine – “Behind the Scenes of HomeTeam at Vision House” will be airing this Thursday, 4/13, at 7pm on KING-5. You may also catch it again at 9pm the same night on Northwest Cable News and at 6pm on Friday, 4/14, on KONG-TV. Also, tune in to the HomeTeam “Vision House Episode” this Saturday at 5:00pm on Seattle’s NBC Kong 6/16.

Place yourself in a fun yet sophisticated café surrounded by a palette of rich earthy tones of browns, oranges & reds. Now imagine this is your lunch room at work. That is the setting for our newest creation in progress. This coffee themed mural nineteen feet in length by six & a half feet tall utilizing mixed media will come to life. Pictures to be posted at completion.

Philanthropic Project

Mozelle by Design was selected as the Artistic Director for the Children’s Village Mural project through Susan Camerer, the Executive Director of Vision House. This non profit organization provides transitional housing and case management services to women with children and separately to homeless men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. Phase one of the six million dollar project includes a 5,500 square foot Early Childhood Education Facility with four beautiful Transitional Housing apartments located above. The Gates Foundation donated substantial funds for the building of the first phase of Children’s Village. Built by Conner Homes, aided by the Master Builders Care Foundation and literally hundreds of volunteers. Mozelle organized 30 Artists into separate teams with a total of six room captains to transform a total of 10 rooms into a wall to wall playground of art over a twenty one day time span. Continued Education 2006

Mozelle by Design will be attending the 2006 Stenciling, Decorative Arts & Faux Finishing Convention in Chicago in July. Hundreds of Artists gather to learn innovative techniques through the advanced education workshops taught by renowned Artisans. International educators will be in attendance.

The fourth annual "Faux Event" held in Boca Raton, Florida is not only a Trade Show featuring major vendors, it is a hands on workshop that also has a full agenda of industry speakers and specialty classes. Mozelle by Design will be attending October 16-22, 2006.
